Ahh, we love the Shang. With all the usual luxurious trappings that you would expect from a Shangri-La, there is a beautiful Chinese garden complete with arched bridges, pavilions, ponds and twittering birds. Also one of the best restaurants in Beijing, the experimental (and very expensive) Blu Lobster.
